The indigenous people of New Zealand, known as the Maori, are full of great knowledge when it comes to organic remedies for health and beauty. One of their sweetest remedies is the Manuka Honey. The Manuka Honey is not only a great sweetner for your cup of tea, but it work wonders for acne and other skin related issues.

Now there are multiple ways to apply this honey to your skin's irritations. The best way that we've found that helps the most, is to assess your infected areas and apply one of the two methods to your troubled area.
1. The cleanser (Daily treatment produces best results)
HOW TO:
- Apply to clean, dry skin. (Make sure all dirt and make up is removed from your skin).
- If you're wearing make up I recommend removing it first with a simple cleanser or wash cloth.
- You want to focus on the troubled areas and massage into skin for at least 30 seconds.
- Easiest way to remove is to jump in the shower, and use a clean warm wash cloth and ensure it's thoroughly removed Pat dry and apply your normal moisturizer.
- If your skin is very oily you might like to do a double cleanse. The 2nd time, don't worry about removing it as thoroughly, simply massage the remaining honey into skin and let that be your moisturizer (this is a great way to balance skin).

Its reduces bacteria of the skin.
If used daily, your skin will be come smooth and soft.
For those of you who have sensitive skin, this will be great because you're not leaving it on for too long.
2. The spot treatment
- Clean and dry your skin.
- You're now going to want to apply small amounts of the honey on the infected areas. (This is great for pimples, cyst, rashes, etc.)
- Cover the treated area with some type of bandaid so the honey can remain its contact on the skin. ( We prefer sensitive bandages such as these Curad bandages)
- You should do this for at least 30 minutes. For the best results, try to do this treatment at night to allow the honey to do its sweet magic.
